Double Century Riders, Inland Empire Cycling is pleased to announce that the Hemet Double Century is now being offered as a Virtual Hemet Double Century. We’re putting on the ride to give the double century riders the opportunity to earn CTC ride credit during this challenging time. We trust this aligns with your goals as well.
The Virtual Hemet Double Century must be 200 miles or more, have at least
6,600’ of climbing, and completed in less than 24 hours outdoors on real roads anywhere in
the world (Open country roads and majestic rolling hills optional).
The Virtual Hemet Double Century will be held between 4/10/2021 and 4/24/2021.
There is no requirement to select any firm date during the 15 day time period, but the ride must be
completed in April 2021. To maintain some control of social distancing groups of more than five riders
will not be allowed. Please ride safe!
All Virtual Hemet Double Century Riders must have a Strava account. The ride
record must be set for public viewing. The Strava results must be submitted to Jim Watrous at
jawatrous@earthlink.net. To accomplish this, copy your
Strava virtual double century ID (identifier) and paste it into the email you send to jawatrous@earthlink.net. The data will be verified
and will be submitted to the California Triple Crown for ride credit.
